Love is in the leap year!!!!!!!

Morning everyone

Well it's leap year, so we all have an extra day..................
Will we get more done than normal for the extra 24 hours?????? lol

As today could be a romantic day for many people my card today is keeping in the romantic theme

So for today's card it is all hearts
I have used centura pearl snow white card, so the card is very simple white on white.
The embossing folder again is my favourite, an old one from docrafts.
Last a purple ribbon with a heart buckle.

I hope you all have a wonderful day

Sunny Saturday:0)x

Afternoon everyone

And what a lovely Saturday afternoon it is
kids have played in the garden and been riding bikes out the front.
So love the nicer weather everyone seems happier.

It's a quick card again today as I'm busy designing invitations for my Dad's 70th Birthday party.
How my computer and printer haven't been thrown through the window I don't know!!!!

Anyway back to less stressful card making and not my lack of computer skills lol

My card is an anniversary card using the fantastic lili of the valley stamp
I have used red and white linen card from http://papermilldirect.co.uk/
I have stamped my image with memento (tuxedo black) ink
and coloured with spectrum noir pens.
And last but not least my sentiment!!!!!
It is a stamp from a woodware set of clear stamps
(sorry I can't remember the name of the range, but it is a few years old!!)

Well that's all for today, hope you're having a lovely one

Party shoe time

Happy Thursday people:-)
Well the weather seems to be bright and sunny
So is spring here or not???????

As the sky seems so happy today I wanted to do a floral theme, but needed the cutie part too:-)
So my quick card today is....

Strawberry Kisses flower power stamp
I have made the card just plain and simple with the image coloured with spectrum noir pens
To make the card more spring themed I used yellow core'dination card for the matting and layering.

Now for the card that was for today!!!!

Sorry it's Strawberry Kisses again (I just love the range)
I promise I will stay away from more SK cards for a while after this one!!!

This stamp is the 'party animal' main image
Again I have coloured with spectrum noir pens, but then sprayed the red part of the shoe
with spray and sparkle.
These images drawn by Sally Hunter are just gorgeous for colouring in with lots of large spaces

The sentiment is from a print out from my computer and is mounted onto red
core'dination card.
The ribbon affect has been made with a strip of the same card and then
punched with a Martha Stewart boarder punch.
Just to finish the design I have added a couple of layered red flowers
and white card candi stuck to make the centre.

Well they are my cards for today, I'm off now to make some party invitations for my Dad.
Have a good day

Kids seem to like school, can you tell? lol

Well getting back to the reason for my blog
CARDS!!
Today's card is an Anniversary card, I hope you like it

For my card today I have used-
Stamped image 'Times to treasure' from
http://www.liliofthevalley.co.uk/acatalog/Stamp_-_Times_to_Treasure.html
It's even on special at the moment for £3.00 (bargain)
I have used spectrum noir pens to colour the image.

The papers are from the Strawberry Kisses Cd-rom
And the flowers are from my craft box stash
(which seems to grow larger everyday!!!!)

For the sentiment I used-set 7 For You Circular Sentiments from the same site as above.

I have used core'dination card from the purple, I have layered the sentiment onto
Lacey circles from spellbinders and made a decorative strip with a Martha Stewart punch.

Well I hope you like today's post, have a good Sunday Evening

Funny Valentine:-)

Morning Everyone,
Today's post is my Valentine's cards from yesterday.
I didn't get the chance to blog yesterday as I had a poorly little boy:-(

I took my 3 children out to get a Valentine's card for Daddy, after a long time around the shops my eldest said they didn't like any of them so we could go home for me to make one for them!!!!

So here is my effort with the help of my kids

The image we found from http://www.justinklined.com/
the kids loved it.
The sentiment was printed from the computer
and red and black card candi was added in the corner for detail.

We decided to stick with the red white and black theme for the card
The hearts were cut with my cuttlebug using the heart and scalloped heart dies from x-cut.

I coloured the image in with spectrum noir pens from Crafters Companion.

Next is the card I made for my Husband as his surprise card

I had to get this image again from http://www.justinklined.com/
I just fell in love with the little cupid.
For this card I used white hammered card for the base and red textured card from http://papermilldirect.co.uk/
The red card i ran through my cuttlebug and embossed with a docraft embossing folder.

Again the image was coloured with spectrum noir pens
(I just love his face, so sweet)

Well I hope you all had a lovely Valentine's day, apart from a poorly boy i did get
a dozen red rose's from my hubby.

Have a good Wednesday

Birthday Time Again x

Happy Saturday:-)

I am keeping along the same lines as my last Blog entry, it's another
'Happy Birthday' card.

I do have a favour to ask too!!!! Yes Cheeky I know:-)
Please could you have a look at my friends blog,
she is giving away a Blog Candy for someone who
Thank you in advance and sorry for being cheeky x

Well like I said at the top my card for today is a Birthday card
I made for my Daughter's friends last week.
It is again from the gorgeous Strawberry Kisses range.

I love this image and is so easy to colour with such large areas.
I have used the spectrium noir pens to colour and using masking I have sprayed the glass
with spray and shine.

All the patterned papers and embellishments used are from the Strawberry Kissed Cd-rom.
For the matting and Layering I have used core'dination card from the reds family.

Even the insert was printed from the Cd-rom.

I hope you all like this card, the Birthday girl did:-)

Well thanks for stopping to take a look, keep warm and safe.
