Plain and simple!!!!

Good Morning Blog Land, I hope everyone is having a good week!
And nobody got too wet yesterday in all that rain...

Today's card is just a very plain and simple creation...

It was a card that was ordered in A4 size.
I have used centura pearl snow white card for the base and top layers,
to give the card a more classic look I used black card for the other layers.
The spec was 'Motor Racing'
I used a Kanban topper of a F1 car against the black to make it stand out more
I made the sentiment on my computer and used card candi to finish the card.

I hope you have a good day

November already!!!!!

Not sure where the last month has gone, it just seemed to go soooooo fast!!!!!
With half term, the month of October seemed a very busy one.......

I promise to try harder this month with keeping my blog updated. So starting with the very 1st day of November my card is a male birthday card!!!!!

The stamp is from the Crafters Companion Swalk range....
I have kept with blues and reds to keep it colourful and fresh.

I have used my promarkers to colour the image.
Martha Stewart punches have made the detailed red and blue trim.

To finish off I have used craftwork cards card candi,
the sentiment was printed off my computer.

Well I hope you like the card and November is starting off well for you

Pretty in Pink!!!!

Today's card is a pretty SWALK creation.

I have made this card for a friend who wanted a 40th Birthday card for her friend.
I love this stamp as it's so easy to use, and is perfect for special female occasions.

To make this card I have used:

S.w.a.l.k. Unmounted Rubber Stamp - Deserve a Treat &
Pink and Brown core'dinations card

I also used 1 sheet from 'the sweet matstack'
from DCWV

I have made the rose from a sheet of Pink core'dination card and used glitter glue just on the edges.

I have coloured the image with promarkers and used a clear glitter copic pen just over the wine glass and bows on the boxes.

I hope you all have a fantastic day

Christmas come early!!!!!!!!

Afternoon everyone, I hope you are all enjoying the lovely weather this HOT Friday......
Well my card today is a Christmas card from Humphrey's Corner Christmas Decoupage range, this range is so lovely and easy to use as it's die-cut and such beautiful quality. Nothing you don't expect from Crafter's Companion though!!!!!

As you can see I have gone for an 8x8 size card, with traditional Christmas colours, green red & white.

I have made a red rose from linen card and sprayed it with sparkle and spray (silver).

Here is a close up of the decoupage, I have layered it using collall 3D glue gel and have used the tool to curve the image to look more real. The roses are just mini ones that I got from e-bay.

The stamped message is from lotv, it is from the sentiment Christmas stamp sheet. I have used glamour dust over the top to give it added sparkle.......
Other items used are card candi from www.craftworkcards.co.uk
The papers used are from last years paper stacks
and the white card has been punched with a Martha Stewart punch.

I have entered this card into http://ccmonthlychallenge.blogspot.com/

I hope you like this card, take care and pop by again soon

Happy friday (again)

Well it's been a busy week, kids first full week back at school=homework...

But apart from that I have been making some wedding invitation samples

The Wedding colours is ... Pink

But apart from that there was no spec to keep to

I hope you like them (and the bride & groom do too)

I have tried to keep a clean and simple design to them as when batch making you
don't want to much fuss.

I have used a mixture of flat surfaces and embossed texture.

I have used a couple of stamped images, this one is a digi download
then coloured with spectrum noir.

I have also used different sizes and shapes, A6, square are the
most used ones for invitations

I have mixed cute with classic

I love using the ribbon and buckle, just simple but elegant.

I have also done a postcard type but can't add that one on as all the details
and addresses are on it.... The design above opens in to 3 sections and will be fastened
with white Velcro.

Well I hope you like the samples, now I'm off to have a play with my new stash

Yep the new Humphrey's Corner Christmas set.

Funny Anniversary:-)

Morning everyone, so how was your Bank Holiday weekend? It went far too fast for me....... Hubby was working on Saturday so we crammed lots of gardening and DIY into Sunday/Monday. So as the weekend went so fast and was so busy not much crafting happened:-( Anyway as I have not long had the blog I have lots of cards I've made over the past couple of months, today's card is an anniversary card I made for my parents. Hope you like it.......

The image is a digi stamp from https://bugaboostamps.3dcartstores.com/ They are from the Stella/Gus range. They do a large range of Digi stamps for all occasions and age ranges. With this stamp I also got the sentiment.... The backing paper used is from the magnolia collection.

I used a die cut from Docrafts to cut the sentiment and mirri card into the star shape.

Down the side of the card I added 3 buttons and in the centre of the added heart shaped gems.

At the bottom I used a silver ribbon that looks like a link chain, at the knot I have added a jump ring and attached the heart charm. Both are from hobbycraft.

I hope you like the card and thanks for stopping by

Swalk for a special friend

Hi again, today I have tried to get organized for my friends birthday at the beginning of next month. We have been friends for nearly 13 years and she turns 40 on september 8th. As my children don't go back to school until the 7th September and we are going out for her birthday on the 8th I thought I'd be ready. (only present and godmother card to make from my daughter now!!!!!)

I have picked one of the latest swalk stamps to use, 'you deserve a treat'.

I have coloured the image with speccies and stamped the image twice to decoupage the book chocolates and wine glass. I have also used the copic clear glitter pen over the wine glass to give a sparkle.

I have used all card stock from crafters companion, the card base was made with centura pearl snow white and the brown and pink card was core'dinations. I  made the rosette myself for a sentiment to go in the middle, again made from core'dination card then sprayed with silver spray and sparkle. The sentiment was from a digi download.

The rose is made from my craft studio rose template, then srayed with the same glitter again. The mini roses are from a purchase made on e-bay.

The insert was made with help from 'the ultimate verse insert designer' cd-rom, then I used a couple of stamps on the bottom. The bottle and glass are from the same stamp plate as the main image, then the present is from a popcorn stamp sheet.

The last few items on the card are card candi, and a sheet of chocolate card from 'the sweet matstack' from DCVW. I added a  couple of gems just to finish the design off.

I hope you like the design, and come back again soon

Today I have used the 'friends forever' Humphrey stamp. The image was stamped on to neenah card with tuxedo black memento ink. The backing paper is from the forever friends 6x6 paper stack 'For you'. I have had printed the sentiment from my computer.

I have used spectrum noir pens to colour the image. I have gone for a very simple card today as had lots of washing and other boring stuff to do:-(. I hope you are all having a lovely day and the weather is better than it is here. Need some more sun to cheer everything up a bit......

Thanks for stopping by

SWALK today:-)

I've gone back to one of my older Swalk stamps today, I love this image as it is so useful. This stamp works for both male and female, this card has been made for a female who is leaving her job. The Swalk range is from crafters companion.

Again I have used spectrum noir pens to colour the image. The papers I have used are core'dinations for the block of colour in the layers, and the patterned papers are from the swalk cd-rom2. I have used a Martha Stewart punch down the side of the patterned paper for details.

Again I have used the core'dinations card to make the larger paper rose, the smaller roses I purchased on e-bay.

Inside the card I have made an insert, with a verse and in the corner I have used another stamp from the same stamp plate to complete the design.

Thanks for taking time to look at my blog, and I hope you will come back again soon

Hugs
