Clowning Around

Good morning everyone, how are you all?
It's a beautiful sunny morning here, I hope it's a lovely day where you are too.
We are still in the middle of a building site here, bathroom being tiled and at the moment
we have an empty room where my kitchen should be (only bonus to that is no cooking or washing up lol)
So on to today's card, it's half term this week here so I thought I would start the week with a kids card;-)

And here is today's card, a little bit of fun with nice bright colours
to cheer up the little person who receives it. I have used an 8x8 card blank for this one.

Here is a close up of the backing papers I have used, they are both from the
Humphrey's corner CD-rom. I have kept with the orange and blue theme through the backing papers and the card I have used for matting and layering. Also just in the corner of the card you can see I have used orange spotty card Candi just for decoration.

And the last photo is a close-up of the little Humphrey clown image
I have stamped Humphrey with tuxedo black memento ink onto crafters companion's neenah card.
I have coloured the image with spectrum noir pens again I have kept in with the colour theme of the card and kept the image fun and bright.

I have entered this card to the following

I hope you like today's card, and enjoy your Sunday.

Hugs

A Little Boys Treat

Good Morning Blogger's
How are you all this Saturday morning? I'm trying to be organised today and blog nice and early;-)

Well for today's card I have made a special card for a little boy,
bigger boys may like the treat in the draw too!!! lol

For the image I have used a Crafter's Companion's CD-ROM
The gingham backing paper is from a very old stack I had in the back of a cupboard!!

As you can see from this photo I made an easel card with the draw underneath.
I have made the card base, box and draw from centura pearl snow white card.

I have matt and layered the box lid to add a little bit more interest
and luxury.
And for inside the draw!!!!

Lots of chocolates:-)

Also before I go can I just let you know a facebook friends of mine has started a new online craft shop yesterday, So if you have a free minute or 2 please pop over and show her your support http://www.clarecurdcrafts.co.uk/.  Thank-you x

I hope you like today's card, enjoy your Saturday

Hugs

A Little Different For Me

Evening Everyone

How are you all this Friday evening? Well I hope.

I haven't done much crafting today as ironing had to be done so fingers crossed while Hubby is tiling the bathroom this weekend and 1 of the girls is at a sleepover I maybe able to do some. But for today's card I have tried a different kind of image. A little more art deco!!!! I hope you all like it.

What do you think?

Here is a close up of the image, the stamp is from the do craft magazine range
I have coloured with spectrun noir pens
and added some glitter around the ruffles and a few gems.

a closer look to see the shading and glitter for depth and detail.

I have used an old piece of 12x12 paper from bo bunny (i think)
and added 3 epiphany round gems.
The backing paper is already glittered.

And last of all I added a sentiment just printed from the computer then
matt and layered it onto dark card stock to make it stand out more.

Enjoy the rest of your evening

Hugs

Back At Last!!!!

Hi Everyone, I hope everyone is well and not too cold this evening.
I have been absent from blogland for far too long:-( but I am back, I have been busy having work done at home. New windows, Bathroom and Kitchen so crafting has taken a bit of a back seat but craft hat is firmly back on and mojo is back:-)

And to start the new year (a little late) for me in blogland
'A new home card'

I have use some old woodware stamps I have.

The houses and the words are from the same clear stamp set
I have coloured the image with spectrium noir pens, but kept the colours very light
and neutral.

The moving truck is also on the same stamp set
and the message topper was just printed from my computer and layered on
silver mirri card.

I hope you like the card

Hugs
