Just For You

The nice bright sunny day's have come back today (Well for now anyway!!)
Hubby is back at work and kids all happy playing in the garden
so it's been craft time for me.
Bliss

This is my card for today

I have made this card to enter the 'sketch N stash' challenge.
So some items I have used are old from my BIG crafty stash and 1 or 2 items are newish!!

This is a closer look at the topper I've used. This is one of my stash items, I love the lotv
stamps but sometimes need a quick topper so the pre-coloured squares are ideal.

The sentiment is from again an old stamp set from the woodware range, on a stamp sheet of
anniversary sentiments and 2 couples.

And as you can see inside I've used the backing paper from the from with a circle cut out and the white card behind. I have used the same stamp again and left room to write any extra wishes.

Items used -

Topper - Romantic Times
Sentiment stamp - Woodware stamp set (from 2009)
Red card - Core'dination card
Flowers - E-bay
Die Cut around topper - Lacey Circles

I have also entered this card into the following challenges

(entry 5)

Enjoy the rest of your day

Happy Easter To You All xx

Happy Easter Sunday

I hope everyone has had a lovely day, the kids got lots of eggs and was up by 6am.
It has been a very long day, and with the weather being not so nice one spent indoors.

My card today isn't chocolate related, but the little cat does look like my little ones after the 1st
round of the egg hunt!!!!

I didn't keep to my 'no strawberry kisses' cards very long, sorry.
I just thought the kitten would look like so many children young and old today.

I have added lots of texture, this from the embossing folder from docrafts
'Boofle Tri-Boss Universal Embossing Folder - Patchwork'
and a doily from create and craft.
For the card and papers I have used core'dinations, as they are so easy to find colour's to go together.
My sentiment stamp is from lotv.
The Stamp is Strawberry Kisses - Birthday Kitten Stamp Set
stamped with memento tuxedo black ink and coloured with Spectrum Noir pens.

I have entered this card into the following challenges -

My Dad's Special Day

Hello Bloggers!!!!

I hope you are all well and safe, and the weather isn't too bad where you are!!!!!
We've quite lucky here it has been lovely up until about an hour ago, then we had a short shower
(but only rain thank goddness)

As I said in my last post it was my Dad's 70th Birthday on Saturday
I couldn't post his card's then as he hadn't opened them but now I can:-)
I made a grand total of 4 cards for him

Card 1.

This card was made for my Mum
I used the docraft graphic program to include the photo of my Dad as a young
boy onto the backing paper and added the shadow to give it
a raised look.

Card 2.

This card was from my 3 children for Grandad.

I have kept to neutral tones for this card and used a digital image
I have coloured the image in with spectrum noir pens.

Card 3.

This card was from me and my Husband.
I wanted this card to be nice and bright, with a little bit of humour.

I made the sentiment on my computer and cut it with my cuttlebug,
using spellbinders 'labels 4 small'

And last on this card is the image from
This image was again coloured with spectrum noir pens.

Card 4.

This card was made for the present as we bought my Dad tickets to go on
the London Eye. (You don't get the tickets sent).

The stamp is a Penny Black stamp
I love the new london range, and couldn't believe they had bought out the London Eye
one earlier in the year.

And my last photo for the day.....
The beautiful view from the top of the London Eye on Monday lunch time.
We all had a lovely day and the weather stayed perfect. Then in the evening went to see my eldest daughter in her Spring Drama production, which was fabulous. (Proud Mummy time)

I hope you have enjoyed my blog post today
